how we work

Yellow, world! We’re open, we’re ambitious and we’re always sunny, and because of that it’s important that you understand our working process. Knowing what we do, step by step, will help you visualize our entire flow of actions.

We’re in this together, and we’ve created this guide to tell you a little bit about how we cook things up around here. You will constantly know what step of the process we are at, and in case of any other questions we’re just a click & a message away, so no need to be shy.

Make yourself comfortable, and get ready to be introduced to our sunny world:

1. The creative brief

The most important part of delivering something relevant, is first knowing you and your vision. That’s why we focus and spend a lot of time, energy and coffee, to fully understand the needs and objectives that align with you.

By completing the creative brief, we get to know you and your project a little better, so that afterwards we can discuss more in depth about every aspect presented. Because different projects require different approaches and varying budgets, it's important that we know beforehand every aspect in the brief, so that we can adapt our material accordingly.

2. The analysis of the brief

We brainstorm, we analyse and we stir things up, to create the best suited content for you and your needs. By answering as detailed as you can and filling the brief form, you will help us quicken our process as well as our suggested estimated budget. We will then put our minds & mights together and start the process as soon as possible.

3. The budget

Our mission is to create the perfect recipe for your brand, and in order to do that it’s vital that we set up a proper budget. You will receive an estimated budget from us, in which we will take into consideration the production costs and other necessary materials. Once evaluating the above mentioned brief, we will be able to offer an estimated and appropriate budget.

4. Confirming the budget & signing the contract

Get ready to get spicy, because we’re about to get our thinking hats, gloves and socks on.

In order to start planning the project, we will need your confirmation regarding the proposed budget, as well as the direction and options for the project that we’ve created. You can find our contract form right here, and at the moment of the signing of the contract you will receive an advance bill of 40% from the total value of the predetermined contract. The rest of the billing will be made when we will hand the materials. The payment deadline is 30 days.

5. The pre-production

We organize, discuss and prepare everything we need in order to bring your vision to a bright and sunny new life. We’ll be in touch throughout the entirety of this step, so that we can clarify any questions we might have, needed information we may need or a suggestion we want to discuss over.

They say a picture is a thousand words, so imagine what a moodboard can say about your project. Meant to evoke and help contour an image of a style, preference or feeling you want your content to have, a moodboard is the perfect visual tool to grasp the direction we need to follow. Formed by arrangement of photos, pieces of text, much alike a collage with a theme, the moodboard we create together will help us tremendously when piecings things together.

Once we complete these steps, our project will already have a foundation to rise upon.

6. The feedback

Communication is always key, and we’re not making any exceptions. In order to be effective and efficient at all times, we will be communicating constantly with you. Your feedback, suggestions and thoughts will always be taken into consideration when assembling the final & finished product. In order to achieve your vision, we will need your feedback, which we will then use to adapt our content to the necessary requests.

7. The production

Lights, camera, action!

Time for everything we’ve discussed, arranged and planned to come to life, and for the result to be revealed. Our brand new creation is ready to meet you.

8. The post-processing process

Now that we’ve got all the needed ingredients, it’s time to make specialty like no other, the Sunny Side Up way. Throughout this phase, we will be in touch and you will always know what we’re up to, what the current status of the project is and what other changes may occur. All in time for the deadline, naturally, as we don’t like to be late for such an important date.

9. The post-production feedback

We like to take all things into consideration, and make sure that everything is up to standards before we deliver the final project. That’s where the post-production feedback comes into the frame, for all final changes. It’s important that the feedback we receive is as structured as possible, and not very different from what was discussed up until this point.

Despite looking insignificant, even the smallest of changes, such as moving a text a little more to the left (or maybe right?), can be time consuming and may hinder the process.

10. Confirming the final materials & billing

Time to get the show on the road!

Once the final content is done & wrapped, we’ll be sending it off your way, with all our love and sunny energy of course, for one final confirmation. The only thing left for you to do is answer our quick feedback form, so that we can always improve and know what to keep an eye out for, in our future collaborations.
